Soldier of night
Soldier of the night Commander of the silver chariot, What is your worth to a man of gold. Cruel and unjust is your tongue, Decadent and slanderous are your eyes. The poison lights of your face only show a glimpse of the darkest night. As a boy you wasted your life, Ridiculed opportunity, left it with your empty drunkenness. Surrounded by dead souls; Your commands limitless, Your actions worthless. Naked and masked you await death, Chuckling at its timely visit. A moment passes; what do you have left to show, What did you leave, alone you stand. Where are your comrades, Where are your brothers. Lost in a desert of wasted dreams, Without love you die, thirsty.
