These Days
 These days are passing faster now,
faster than yesterday,
faster than this heart can dream.
When I step out of the ocean,
I want to see the world around me,
when I step out of the sea,
I want you next to me,
when I step out of the river,
I want to believe in me and you.

This could be a movie,
but it could not be a dream.
why am I not on the stage,
why am I not on the screen,
why am I not in your dreams…

when we come back
we always take the same road,
I guess that its just habit,
the habit to look for change.
Pass the statues and dorms full of dreams,
past the life full of screams.
We are the quiet warriors,
the destroyed senses,
the ultimate expense.

When we leave,
we always take the same road.
It does not matter,
we do not get dreams,
we get burned out fantasy’s of life,
of love, of the gentle things in between…
The sun was out Today
She may be everything that I need,
but if she is why can’t I bleed?
If she is everything I need,
why can’t I dream?
why am I lonely for change?
It doesn’t matter if its raining,
either way I’m looking for something new,
a dream or maybe two.
Today, I was walking
Today, I was thinking about you,
Then in noticed I did not care,
whether you were here or not,
if you are part of me or not.
I walked down to the bar,
there she was, probably like the day before.
I said hello, how’s it going?……..
………….Is it raining where you live?

She just looked at me and laughed,
it was what I wanted but did not know;
the things I couldn’t grow,
the sky,
the night,
she was the dawn,
the river and the rain.
She was everything,
I can finally complain,
it does not seem to change things.
Who needs that any way,
we can’t run from most things,
but most of all, I can finally dream.
I guess the sun was out today…
