Dustin Thomas Cail
(this poem was written for my best friend when he was hit by a simi on May 3, 1999)

Dustin, you were the light of our life,
Now that you're gone it feels like I was stabbed with a knife.
You were one of the best,
Now you lie at rest.
Why was it your time to go,
I really need to know.
What can I do know that you are gone,
I don't think that I can go on.
You brought to my life joy, laughter, and love,
I was often convinced that you were sent from above.
