cry not alone
Cry not alone I new a lady so dear to me she was my friend so special to me
I could cry to her and sigh to her and she never turned away
I always trusted and looked up to her and embraced her faithfully
She was so special to me so dear like a treasure my best friend
She was my mother how I miss her so much, I truly miss her kind caring touch
Here today gone tomorrow how it holds it so true remember it can happen to the best of you
So my words to you hold your mother close to you and never forget the memories
Because she can be swept away from you in a moments time
