Survived The Summer
I memorized your eyes, and your body. So, I could take you home, that way I could make it through that summer. Much like a child would memorize their favorite fairy tale. And, when you'd read it to them you couldn't leave out one dragon, or exactly how shinny the hero's armor was. As, when I dream of you, your eyes have to shimmer that special way they did when you would tell me that you loved me. I would have to invision your smiles. Each and every one of them. This is how I survive my summer. Like a child survives it's childhood. But, lucky them, they never get seperated from their dreams, and they never get told that it is just a fairy tale.
