That Day Was Wonderful
That day was wonderful. You came to me
in a dream. All I had to do was smile,
laugh, and your arms were wrapped around
my waist. I never had to steal my kisses,
and your smile was for free. But, I learned
that dreams don't last forever. And,
things were bond to change. Today isn't
the best. Your still in my dreams, but now
I have to ask for that hug around my
waist. And, everyday I have to steal
my kisses. Thank God that your smile is
still there, but it comes at a price.
The humiliation of other, even me. My
love for you is everlasting, no doubt of
that. But, I just thought that you should
know, that day was wonderful.
