Taken Any Higher
Someday I will wake up, but for now i'm staying in my dreams
Reality scares me, without that safe feeling I used to have
Waiting for the sleep to come over me, and never leave
I wrap myself around emotions, that let me know where I stand
I'll never go higher, and land in the place that is inbetween
Uneasiness plagues my very tearful existance, true.
So, I hide in my dreams, laying there unseen
Knowing, I am left not taken any higher, I don't know what to do.
