Missing In Action
I got your number. You see, I had it all along. I just didn't say anything because I wanted to see how far you would take this show on the road. You think everyday is a casual thing. I see you with your hand in your short pocket and the other hand wrapped around a diet soda trying to look all macho for the ladies. Even though you painted that smile on your face, when you first got up this morning, that devil grin was still shinning right on through. I heard you even bit the hand that fed you early in life. Has success been worth all of your misery? Where is that white pickett fence and the wife to greet you when you come home? I heard she left you high and dry for another man who was more down to earth and didn't think cheating was in his job description. I guess in the end, the only person you really sold out to was yourself. Now that you're getting older, do you finally see that your family was the real reason for your being? It's sad to think when you went through your mid-life crisis, you threw away the best thing life had to offer you. You wanted everything brand new and threw your family away along with all your trash. You have a new wife; I'm not sure what number this one is, but I know she cooks and cleans for you and drains your bank account. I guess this wife is more of a maid? Without pure love in your heart, no one will ever be able to touch your soul. Sure you have material wealth, but you share it with a woman who married for money. I feel pride in my heart holding my son's hand. His smile alone gives me a warm feeling all the way down to the pit of my soul. It's the true joy of my life; unmatched but perhaps the bond I share with my husband comes mighty close. My husband is a true family man, who will never walk out on his own flesh and blood. After all isn't that what life is all about? Being there for your famliy no matter what. That's one lesson you were never taught! No more excuses! Words mean nothing without actions and you've been missing in action way to long. It's sad to say but you have missed out on the best thing in your life. Written By Nesey
