Unrealised Dreams
POETRY. UNREALISED DREAMS. By Ashok Kumar.V. I wandered alone in the desert in vain; Oblivious of the thundering gale; For things hovered in my mind; Those that made me blind; A thousand miseries plagued my heart; So much like pygmy poison darts; They came on - unrelenting; Devastating a destroyed being; I trudged on without purpose; The head and heart a breed apart; Striving to reach a consensus; Climax akin to the bad start; I wandered thus in castles built; Thru sweat, toil and sleepless nights; Wondering if I was ever right; In amassing the now worthless might; I took stock of my lot at last And looked myself in the mirror I found a total stranger there A far cry from the image past. It saddened her my whims; So much like unpredictable springs; What saddened her further still; were unrealised dreams. Dreams that penned down in priceless writings of sojourn An ideal world of Caring and Love That envelops mankind.
