Hermit
I would were i a hermit
that shadows the fiery weather of the heart with a sacred future.
I would were i the silent words sojourning across the stubble-plains
of these imagined pages.
And I would were i the strongest voice to be heard amidst the echoing phantasm of these unearthy crowds.
O cloud of clouds enshrouding the earth with grief-thickened mists spreading indiscriminately.
O cloud of clouds were i but this stifled hermit venturing into these uncouth waters...to find only where he left.
so early bereft.
