voiceless undertones
Looking through the transparencies of be-littled life
I see anguish shed but lifetimes ago by generations past
Their despair was marked by voiceless undertones travelling at the highest of pitches
Their voices were heard although well too late
Generations later, the offspring of ancestors wrongfully murdered demand answers as to why
All that we can offer is a promising outlook for an un-promising future
