Cream butter and sugar untill light and fluffy. Add vanilla essence and eggs ane at a time. 2. Dissolve cocoa in hot water. In a separate bowl sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Alternately add cocoa and shifted flour to the butter mixture. Fold in walnuts. 3. Bake in a greased 20 cm. cake pan lined with parchment paper for 35 minutes at 170 C until cooked. Cool overnight. Chocolate Ganache 150 gm bitter chocolate or semisweet chocolate, chopped 3 TSP heavy cream 3 TSP unsalted butter Method combine all ingredients in a saucepan and melt over medium heat. Cool slightly before pouring over the cake.
